Job Description
Position Overview:

Responsible for influencing plant leadership in developing and deploying a Continuous
Improvement (CI) culture
Actively lead Six Sigma / Lean Continuous Improvement project teams directed at achieving
and sustaining strategic goals within manufacturing
Teach and mentor Continuous Improvement teams in applying Six Sigma, Lean
Manufacturing, and other established CI tools and techniques
Collaborate with plant leadership and network champions to identify and prioritize
improvement opportunities to meet plant goals
Serve as the plant liaison with the corporate CI team to improve the overall CI System

Requirements:

Four year degree in technical or business discipline (Engineering a plus)
Five plus years of relevant experience preferred and/or a minimum of two years of experience
with relevant Continuous Improvement college coursework and proven successes.
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cultural change in an organization
Passion for mentoring and teaching
Previous certification in Six Sigma, Lean or equivalent
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Expert in statistical, analytical, and problem solving tools
Demonstrated success in on time delivery of CI project goals
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and familiarity with
Minitab or other statistical analysis software
A high level of self direction and motivation
Ability to travel as necessary for specific projects/training
