Job Description
Senior Software Engineer: Rapidly growing renewable energy manufacturer is searching for a talented software engineer that has previous experience in performing system level design, development and support for conversion products primarily using C++. Additional aspects of this opportunity will be: Developing, debugging and supporting high speed control algorithms using C/C++, designing data acquisition and filtering algorithms, implementing and supporting realtime Linux based OS products to support data acquisition and system control functions including remote communications. This talented person will be actively involved in the design and development of embedded realtime control software which incorporates data acquisition, signal processing, closed loop control, and power semiconductor gate signal generation algorithms. Knowledge of digital signal processing methods, DSP hardware, and programming of microcontroller peripherals (A/D converters, PWM/timer hardware) is beneficial. Prior experience with communication techniques including network protocols is a plus.
